"fees and charges" of labor contract license

The fees and charges for obtaining a Contract Labour License in India (under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970) are primarily composed of:

🔹 1. Security Deposit
This is a refundable deposit submitted by the contractor to the government as a guarantee of compliance with labor laws.

Paid via e-payment, challan, or treasury (state-specific)

Security Deposit = 50 × ₹500 = ₹25,000

🔹 2. License Fees
This is a non-refundable statutory fee paid to the Labor Department based on the number of contract workers you plan to employ.
